Empowering Futures: Completion of a New School in Guinea-Bissau - In memory of Christian Hammond
Introduction: We are very happy to announce the completion of our school construction project in Guinea-Bissau: a brand new school for around 210 students. This endeavor represents not only bricks and mortar but the building blocks of a brighter future for the local community. Through the dedication of our team and the generosity of The IT Cloud and Matt Palmer: AGB co-founder, we have transformed a vision into a reality, in memory of Christian Hammond.
Project Background: This school is the village of Quinamel, an hour away from Bissau, had been previously completely destroyed. The students had to then travel extremely long distances to be able to continue their education, highlighting the need for re-building this school.
Empowering the Community: Our impact extends far beyond the walls of the school. By providing access to quality education, we are empowering generations to come. Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty, and this school will serve as a catalyst for change in the community.
Gratitude and Acknowledgment: None of this would have been possible without the great support of Matt Palmer through The IT Cloud. The generosity in memory of Christian Hammond, has made a tangible difference in so many of the lives of those in need.
